Newry, Mourne & Down PCSP (Policing & Community Safety Partnership) continue to work closely with the Road Safe NI NMD Committee who have now set up a Support Group for families / individuals affected by road traffic collisions in the local area. The local community continue to experience a high level of fatalities / serious injuries on the roads and the aim of the Support Group is to provide practical and emotional support for anyone affected by road traffic collisions across the District.
The first meeting of the Support Group will take place in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Thursday 16 January from 7-9pm – the Support Group will then meet on the third Thursday of every month in Canal Court at that time.
