Mental Health Awareness Week – NIMHAF & SMHAF Arts Festival Programmes

DAILY UPDATE (19th May 2020)

The Northern Ireland Mental Health Arts Festival (NIMHAF) highlights mental health by showcasing art events across Northern Ireland. With arts on offer from visual arts and photography, poetry and song to psychodrama, music, comedy and film, the festival puts transformation on the agenda across Northern Ireland. This year’s festival has moved online and coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week, from 18th to 24th May 2020.

The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF) is one of Scotland’s most diverse cultural events, aiming to support the arts and challenge preconceived ideas about mental health. The 2020 festival is currently into its third week and is exploring the theme of kindness to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week.
