Action Plan and Priorities

Achievements

The Western Locality Planning Groups have acted as a catalyst to bring together over one hundred organisations and agencies with individual priorities reconciled under the banner of the Children & Young people’s Strategic Partnership which is responsible to the outcomes of local families. The opportunity for multi-agency networking, collaborative planning, development and working has been immense, and has seen significant achievements.

Members have had opportunities for joint working, funding and training within often complex organisational structures, they have also used their local connections to cascade this knowledge out into their communities.

The Locality Planning Groups have been able to review, shape and input into indicators of how well families in areas are achieving and have passed this local knowledge onto the Western Outcomes Group who have then consulted about this information.

Involvement in the design of the Family Support NI.

Involvement in the design and development of Family Support Hubs across the West.
