Dungannon Locality Planning Group

Dungannon Locality group was established in February 2011 and consists of twenty members. This is a collaborative with Dungannon Anti-Poverty Network The group is made up of a broad range of community, statutory, and voluntary organisations alongside Councillors with the remit for children and young people in the area. The group aims to improve the outcomes for children and young people through a multi agency planning approach. The locality planning group is an ongoing process of engagement with children, young people and their families.

Achievements

Recently the group hosted a visit from the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People. The group were able to discuss the issues relating to children and young people in the Dungannon area.
