The Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership (CYPSP) and
Fermanagh PCSP recently co-hosted an event in the Ardhowen
Theatre. Bringing together 250 young people with representatives
from statutory, voluntary and community organisations, discussions centred on the support
services currently available and how these can be improved in
the future.  A play entitled ‘Don’t say a word ’and performed by Patricia Byrne
commenced proceedings and explored the complexities of domestic violence and the effects
it can have on victims. In a Young People’s Behaviour and Attitudes Survey (2010) 28% of pupils in
years 11 & 12 think wives who hit husbands once deserve a second chance in the relationship….. Read more
