Impact of COVID-19 on Incredible Years Online Delivery 2021

We know that the pandemic and lockdown have had significant impacts in all areas of our lives including how we work and deliver services to children, young people and families. Covid-19 has created particular challenges for IY group leaders and we know that their experiences of the last year will differ depending on personal and professional circumstances.

We would like to invite IY Parent Programme Group Leaders to share their experiences of adapting ways of working to offer support to families through online programme delivery:

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ST2ZL73

This survey covers the period that Covid-19 restrictions began on 28th March 2020 up until 28th March 2021.

The aim is to enable us to better respond to changing support needs as we go forward. We will use the information provided to inform the programme of work for the Incredible Years Northern Ireland (IYNI) Co-ordination Project which we run in conjunction with Child Development Intervention Co-ordinators (CDICs) in each of the Health and Social Care Trusts. This activity is funded by the Public Health Agency (PHA).

IY Parent Programme Group Leaders can begin completing the survey by putting the attached weblink into your internet browser: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ST2ZL73

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept private and confidential. Your responses will be aggregated with all of the other responses, and no individual or organisation will be identified in any report produced.

The closing date for the survey is Thursday,22nd April, 2021.

If you have a technical issue accessing or completing the survey, please feel free to contact Dr Richard Nugent by email at: rnugent@ncb.org.uk.

As a thank you for taking part, you have an opportunity to opt in to a prize draw for some Incredible Years programme resources. You will see details for this at the end of the survey.
