18 – 30 Aug 2015
Not sure how to entertain the kids over the long summer break? Corrymeela is offering a series of summer camps for young people in August. The Freestyle Project will be based at their centre in Ballycastle and will be a mix of creative activities and outdoor adventures. Participants will build new relationships, have the space to express themselves and most importantly have a lot of fun! The Camps are open to young people (11–17) in the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area. There will be 3 camps for Different ages.
Freestyle Camp 1 for 11–13 year olds will run from the 18th–20th August.
Come along to play, laugh and learn with music, dance and games. Costs are £10 per child, which includes a 2–night stay at Corrymeela and all meals and activities. We are also inviting any interested young people and their families to come along to an Activity Afternoon on Sunday 26th July from 2.00 – 4.00 pm at Corrymeela to try out some activities and find out more about the camp.
Freestyle Camp 2 for 14–16 year olds will run from 21st–24th August
Are you looking for adventures in the great outdoors this summer and aged 14–16. With activities ranging from camping to kayaking and rock climbing, you will get the opportunity to push yourself with new and exciting experiences, within a safe and supportive environment.
Freestyle Camp 3 for 16–17 year olds will run from 27th–30th August.
Are you creative? Are you looking to get stuck in and messy with some added adventure to boot? Well this summer camp is for you.
