Family Support Hubs Newsletter – 17 June 2020

This week’s Family Support Hub Newsletter (which has now moved to fortnightly) is attached and available to download at  

The focus this week is on support for carers following last week’s Carers Week and as this week is Loneliness Awareness Week , Men`s Health Week , Learning Disability Week and Alcohol Awareness Week you will also find a lot of information about  these issues.

Also included is parenting support , emotional health and well-being projects and as well as support for children with physical disabilities.

You will also find a wealth of other local information about a range of diverse subjects.

This week’s good news story features the Waterside Hub in Derry/ Londonderry co-ordinated by Anne McCloskey from Action for Children.

Anne has included information about the digital support she has been able to provide for families and also the views of  a parent and some of the schools she has had even more contact with during this period.
