Family Support Hubs Newsletter – 13 May 2020

Attention all family support hub workers/co-ordinators our latest Family Support Hub newsletter is now available to download at http://www.cypsp.hscni.net/download/documents/COVID-19-Weekly-Family-Support-Newsletter.pdf

This edition of the newsletter provides advice, resources and project updates as of 13 May 2020.

This week I have included more contact information for rural areas including  transport as well as community based supports in various locations across the region.

As the lockdown continues I have collated information for services that support mental health issues and addictions advice.

There is information around parenting including co-parenting and family mediation as well as advice and support for foster carers.

A number of online training opportunities are also included for example, Safeguarding Awareness Training on entering people`s homes and online stress control classes.

There are also a range of details of other organisations such as those who support children and adults with disabilities and those  who have sent through details they wanted to share with you.

This week’s good news story features the work of the  Family Support Hubs in the South Eastern Trust led by Karen Otley and includes the range of individual work still available for children, young people and their families.
