Resources to help reduce feelings of anxiety

Daily Update 08 May

The coronavirus can bring feelings of uncertainty, fear and worry to many of us and to our families.

This pandemic puts an extraordinary amount of pressure on parents and carers to cope with their own reactions, keep households running, and manage childcare while school is cancelled. On top of that, many parents/carers are worried about how the pandemic is affecting children’s behavioural health.

It is important, too, that parents and carers equip themselves to be able to talk with children who have witnessed or heard about traumatic events, linked to the ongoing pandemic or otherwise.
