In January 2014, the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety and the Department of Justice launched a 12-week consultation on a proposed new Joint Strategy on Domestic and Sexual Violence, entitled “Stopping Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse in Northern Ireland”.
